Strandhill Moments campaign is shortlisted for Irish Content Marketing Awards

We are more than a little chuffed to be shortlisted for the Irish Content Marketing Awards 2019 for our work on a tourism marketing campaign for Strandhill.

#StrandhillMoments, the campaign we created to promote this beautiful place we are lucky to call home to new audiences has been in the ‘Best Content Marketing Award – Travel’ category.

This campaign included collaborating with talented local creatives Peter Clyne (videography), Peter Martin (photography) and the team behind GoStrandhill (Allan Mulrooney and Dave Mottershead).

The campaign ran under the GoStrandhill platform, a locally run website (gostrandhill.com) which was also revamped and relaunched to coincide with the campaign. 

A series of videos, editorial content, a blogger FAM trip,  PR, a new media bank, and a user-generated social media campaign – all under the banner of #StrandhillMoments – were produced during the timeline and gained significant traction online. 

This campaign was funded by the Strandhill Community Development Association.

A New Partnership for Bua

For this campaign, we created a partnership with local creative agency Starling & Co to combine our skillset to deliver a best-in-class digital and PR campaign.

As a result, we have created a new long-term partnership with Denise Rushe, to offer integrated digital and PR campaigns for the tourism, creative, cultural, consumer and public sector vertical industries.

The Irish Content Marketing Awards

The Irish Content Marketing Awards are in their second year. Set-up to recognise the best in Irish content marketing campaigns; “A successful content marketing strategy allows businesses to connect with their customer base on a more meaningful level, in both an online and offline setting. The Irish Content Marketing Awards hopes to reward teams and individuals who have truly engaged the public and business audiences alike, through campaigns that have been both valuable and entertaining.”

The black-tie gala awards ceremony will take place in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday, September 26th. irishcma.ie
