New Destination Marketing Campaign for Leitrim Tourism

This week, we are delighted to launch a new campaign for Leitrim Tourism showcasing the very best of staycation memories from the magical Hidden Heartland county, positioning it for an even bigger slice of the domestic tourism market in Ireland.

Enjoy Leitrim Campaign

For this brief, our client at Leitrim Tourism wanted us to put County Leitrim on the map as a leading destination for staycation holidays, for this summer and beyond. As a multi-channel campaign, we are working alongside The Radio Room, The Engine Room and Islander Visual Media to deliver radio, digital, video, commissioned content, influencer visits and outreach.

As part of the campaign, Bua worked with Islander Visual Media once again to deliver a stand-out destination marketing video that showcases the breath and beauty of County Leitrim, from waterways to waterfalls, iconic landscapes, hilly valleys and lakes, alongside an eclectic food and hospitality offering. For families, for friends, and especially for those looking to reconnect and enjoy time out together, Leitrim has an unrivalled offering. Less crowds, more space, great people, wild adventures.

We have also aligned this campaign with Failte Ireland’s destination brand ‘Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands’, which County Leitrim is part of. Similarly to the Wild Atlantic Way, this brand features the prominent midland counties from Leitrim to Offaly.

Another element of this campaign, which has been integral, has been stakeholder and community buy-in; along this campaign journey with Leitrim Tourism Bua Marketing has been consulting with the local tourism industry. As we have said before, ensuring community stakeholders are consulted as destination campaigns are agreed is imperative to the success of the campaign.

Watch below for a little Leitrim magic, make sure to turn the sound on.
